Can we live a simple life in a complex world? I put my trust in a God who I believe desires that for each of us. In fact, I know he does. He does for me, he will for you. He wants to show you joy in the small intricate things...the tiny minute things, the very personal "only you could know" things.

I would love for you to travel with me...to see Him, to find hope and peace and joy and life in the now.

Come along, join me, and lets run home together.

Sleep

I am tired. It was a long long day, yet I am loving seeing joy in this day. I started out finding I had just enough rest to enjoy snuggling with my heating blanket. I know that sounds sort of silly, but if you are single you will understand.
I had some busy moments once I did get to work, from rolling out cinnamon rolls to making 32 salmon salad sandwiches to whipping up some lovely apple dip for snack this afternoon. But, in-between those most busy times were moments of insight, or in my case, sparkly spots. A simple conversation with one of the student staff about his morning devotion, to catching up with a few of the other staff, to trying a new miracle seed that is suppose to solve all my body's problems (one sure could hope such a 'fountain of youth' exists).
I was tired before I got off work and then I heading up to Canada to have dinner with one friend and help another friend pack. But the time with both my friends, the other friend and her family, and my other new friends all helping her pack, was like singing Handel's Messiah song in perfect tune along side a full orchestra and choir.
Tired yes, but blessed beyond believe. Sleep tonight is going to be good.
How have you seen God at work in you day? It can be very simple. Please do respond, it is always amazing to hear God stories.
