I love simple. I want all the simple the world has to offer. Wait though, does it? My blog is called, "Living a simple life in a complex world", so I am going to try and stay focused on the facts, the world does not offer simple.
What is it that keeps you in the simple? For myself, it is focusing on seeing God. I love looking at all the tiny little things he shows me every single day. Such as, a 2 year old telling me thank you for lunch, and who is just learning to say a full sentence such as, "Thank you miss Bobbi for a very yummy lunch." It takes them a lot of processing to get out those very simple words, but boy do they smile when they have accomplished it.
I would love to hear what living the simple life looks like to you. Maybe you can post a simple truth about a bit of joy you have experienced. Please post when you have a minute. Oh, and do keep it simple.
Why is simple so hard? Life is way too busy and the daily multi-tasking that it often takes to keep up becomes normal to us. My life is much busier than I'd like these days and I find that I have to really work to keep it simple. I've heard the phrase live completely in the moment. That's often hard when there are so many distractions. But I'm trying...
